Welfare

If you have any concerns at all about the welfare of cats in the care of a breeder please contact the GCCF Office immediately with details of your concerns and, if necessary, evidence of what you have seen. The GCCF cannot usually act without evidence. Please inform the Club Secretary of your complaint if it relates to a Club member, and it will be investigated where possible.

The situation with rescue cats changes from week to week so lists of Siamese looking for new homes are not posted here.

Please contact our Welfare Officer for current availability of any cats.

There are no adult Siamese cats looking for new homes at present – May 2025

The reasons a cat may need rehoming are many and varied.  The cat may need to be rehomed because the owner can no longer care for them as their personal circumstances have changed, sometimes cats in a household do not get on and it is kinder to find them a new home.  Breeders sometimes need to rehome ex breeding cats as they have too many and the retired queens or studs fare better in a pet home.

We are very dependent upon the kindness of our members who donate to assist the Welfare Arm of the Club.  Monies are put aside as they are received in a designated bank account to be called upon when required.  In fact all money held by the Club, irrespective of source, are likely to be used, should the occasion arise.
